Renova

After almost a year of searching, we finally found Renova in Tacoma. She was one of the first boats that we saw many months earlier, but was far too beautiful and expensive for us. In fact, we just looked at her out of curiosity! We searched high and low, looking for a stable, sea-kindly vessel that would take us to tropical climates and a life of simplified priorities. We searched almost every evening online, and spent weekends traveling the Pacific Northwest, and even a trip to the Great Lakes, in search of "THE ONE"!

But...as luck would have it, the rise of the Canadian dollar was in our favour, and we were able to offer more money for boats on the south of the border. In addition, Renova's owner was becoming aware that she was, as we had previously suggested, priced too high. So after another trip to Tacoma for a complete survey by our survey-god, and some offers and counter-offers, we were the proud owners of this lovely Cape Dory 36. A well respected offshore cruiser!

Isn't she a beauty?

Our layout is slightly different, but pretty close to this.

You have a beautiful boat. Similar to my Jason 35, "Dromen" in layout and interior finish. Best to you on your voyages.

Hi Jerry - thanks so much! She looks a bit different now that she's our home and a true cruising boat, but we think she's great too!
