In spring 2014, we sold Renova. And we've just heard that she's been spotted in the Philippines! We're so thrilled that she is stretching her legs and exploring new parts of the globe. Fair winds to Renova and her crew!
I was googling Apataki because I miss it and wanted to see what google had on it. I found a picture of your sailboat, a cape dory, in Apataki. That picture took me to your Flickr account and down memory lane from when my husband and I cruised from Florida to Australia in our Cape Dory! We sold our boat in Australia in 2010 when I became pregnant. We are now moving from Edmonton to Qualicum Beach. What a small world it is. I will have to ask my husband if he knows you two. He grew up on the Queen Charlotte's, but his family has lived on Vancouver Island for years, one of his sister's in Campbell River.
